Body-care treatments help give your body an aesthetic appeal. While some of these are specialized treatments for particular problems, others help overcome damage caused by aging and wear and tear. These body care treatments and services make you feel good, fill you with confidence and vigor, and generally improve your body toning and texture. There are a number of surgical procedures too such as tummy tuck, face lift, breast augmentation, nose reshaping and lots more. Well, if you are looking at toning your body and getting rid of excessive fat from certain areas, there is no need to opt for surgery right away. If you have tried exercise and appropriate diet with no results, there are a number of non-invasive body care treatments available.
One such non invasive treatment is Lipolysis. It is generally used on those parts of the body that cannot be shaped with persistent exercise or diet. The most common areas that need lipolysis are thighs, buttocks, hips, stomach and chin.
How does Lipolysis Work?
Enzymes are applies intravenously to incite liver to clean the blood from the inside and prevent fat embolism. The active substances lead to the cracking of the membranes of the fat cells (in the treated zone) and pouring out of the content into the surrounding tissue. This waste matter is then thrown out of the body naturally. The effects of this treatment are seen weeks after the procedure is completed. The lipolysis treatment takes around 20 to 30 minutes. You can resume your daily routine immediately after the intervention. Some consider that lipolysis is more advantageous than liposuction because it eliminates the possibility of fibrosis developing on the treated part of the body.
How many repeat appointments are required?
Well, this procedure requires 3 – 4 repeat appointments until you can achieve the desired effect. This is mainly because the process of breaking fatty cells is pretty slow. The skin too becomes firm so that excess skin does not develop after the fat loss. This is not an absolute number however, it greatly depends on the amount of fat that needs to be worked upon. The number of repeat appointments could vary. Some patients might not need a repeat appointment too.
What are the possible complications?
Well, there are usually no complications in this process. Well, sometimes during the treatment bruises may occur. You will be advised to avoid substances that dilute the blood like Andol or Vitamin E etc. As a consequence of the inflammatory process that develops when the fat is dissolved, some painful nodules may occur. This is normal and your doctor will recommend solutions for the same.
The treatment is pretty permanent, but you will have to follow all the instructions and routines that are recommended by your doctor. Especially if you have the tendency of regaining weight, following the doctor’s instructions is mandatory.
Another way to achieve this is by using radiofrequency and ultrasound. This gives you a targeted weight loss along with skin tightening and stretch mark reduction.
Non-invasive means are effective to give your body a perfect sculpting and toning!
